2026 Awards of Excellence

WHY ENTER?

Frederick County Building Industry Asssociation showcases and awards excellence in the building and construction industry of our members. Entries may be for projects, people, etc., located in and outside of Frederick County, and must be submitted by an FCBIA member. 

Your participating reflects a commitment to quality work and winning an award provides endless marketing opportunities and being recognized as an industry leader.

WHEN DO I ENTER?

Entries for the 2026 FCBIA Awards of Excellence reflect work in 2025 and are accepted online only. 

Opens: Monday, December 15th, 2025 at 12:00 a.m.

50% Discount Ends: Friday, January 30, 2026 11:59 p.m.

Closes: Friday, February 12, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

ENTRY FEES

$500 for the First Entry for Non-Individual Awards

$300 for Each Additional Entry for Non-Individual Awards

$200 for Each Individual Award 

$100 for Each Additional Trophy if Requested By a Recipient of an Award; 50% discount does not apply.

CRITERIA & AWARDS

Specific criteria will be provided under each category and must have a minimum of THREE (3) entries to be juried. Each entry is juded individually and top two (2) with the greatest number of points given, will be notified as the "Finalists". The one (1) entry with the greatest number of points given will be awarded FIRST PLACE.

SECOND PLACE winners will receive a framed certificate of recognition.

***NEW***Categories with less than three (3) entries:

Entries that receive a 90% or greater judicial rating by at least 5 or more judges will be awarded FIRST PLACE.

HONORABLE MENTION recipients will be based upon the judges score sheets and comments that are not a Finalist.

JUDGES

The judging panel appointed has expert knowledge and experience in all industry sectors. Each entry will have a minimum of five (5) judges assigned, ensuring no conflict of interest exist with participating companies.
